it's been a while since I've actually posted something about the man I love. so I thought, since he's not here right now, and I'm home alone with Jason and my two younger brothers, I'd whine a little bit about how much I miss him already and how much he rocks my world.

family day picknick

yay! so Jason is eight months today and so me and joe decided to take Jason to the park and have a little picknick. since Jason loooooooooves being outside and today was a beautifully hot sunny day:)
so me and joe loaded up, and since we didn't have the van, we walked about 20 mins to the park. whew. talk about getting some sun and good exercise. it was lots of fun tho, Jason loved the grass..he always loves the grass. I'm so glad we were able to go today. happy eight months baby boy!! I love you SO so very much!! I can't believe time has flown this fast..you're already crawling, eating, standing up on your own, using the potty, even saying "mamamama" which I hardly doubt means mommy, but I like to think so anyways since it makes me feel so special that I just might be your first word!!! thanks for making these last eight months the best eight months of my entire life!! daddy thinks so too!! and soon you'll be One...oh gosh...I can't wait to plan your party!! hee hee.

a happy photo post

this is the awesome, purtty bathroom that was set up all nice (by me and elena) for our wonderful mommy on mother's day. it was like, bath and then relax with some creams and lotions while drinking wine and eating chocolate. YUM! (I got to partake later. I felt like a princess!! sigh...)

this is a really, really naughty squirrel (don't let adorable looks be deceiving! ....I did!) he bullies all the cute animals, especially the bluejays, and scares them off so he can eat all the food that is actually meant for the BIRDS. ahem. yes...meanie. we call him Gippy. Gip would be pig backwards. ><

this is fatty! my adorable baby boy who's got one mister pinkie and goes potty and drum roll.....is crawling now!!!!! ta ta ta dum!! he loves his new toy from Gram and Gramp, and looks way too cool for school on his potty. :-O









this is Jason being my poser for the fat pig and the bananas--his most loved food on earth...ever.
and there's me!! ever so surprised and happy to get a package from the mailman and open it up to find a darling little picture frame where I can capture Jas' footprints! AW!! thanks baby!! you know how much I love Jasons feet!!


















and last we have joe trying to catch mister Gippy who's obviously way too tuned in to his eating habits to actually notice his life is seriously in danger. Joe grabbed his tail but the little guy was able to run away and squeek his heart out in anger....he came back happily the next day.
aaand, the boys/men, have been working on a woodshed. here's the start to a wonderful job they did. I don't have photos of the completed work...sorry..i guess another time!! I'm off to bed, my two boys are angry at me. ack!! sweet dreams!!

pay attention

today, me and jason were both watching a video and sitting on the bed going through my make-up bag--which, by the way, he loves to play with. I wasn't paying attention to him so when he suddenly went silent i knew something was seriously wrong. when i looked at him he was holding my eye-brow razer in his hand and almost ready to stick the thing in his mouth! OMG!! major freak out. I never jumped so much in my life.
the bad news was, he managed to cut himself on his chin and finger. the good news is, it wasn't serious, he didn't poke himself in his eye or any soft places, and he obviously didn't feel any pain because he just went right for something else as soon as I took it out of his hands.
I learned a lesson. had a heart attack. and will be much more careful next time.
thank you Jesus he's safe and happy!! I was actually so relived he was okay, I wrote a song for him. hahahaha. yeah..I'm a bit too much. but what can I say? I'm a mommy!!! ><

Mister Pinkie # 1

other than the chewing on anything he could get his little hands and mouth on, which he's been doing ever since he could control his digits, me and Joe both had no idea that Jason was teething. which surprised us when the other day I felt a toothy on his bottom gum! ack! eeek! hurrah!! my baby boy is getting his first sweet tooth!! ah whata joy! so far there's been no biting, but good grief, that fear is still out there.
one million claps for my baby boy. who's also doing sooo well on the potty. everything concerning his # twos are right there in the potty. TYJ.

My Favorite Girl, Mommy

so many years have gone by, so many Mother's Day post and cards and poems, and they all say the same things. I wish I could somehow be a bit more original in expressing my love and appreciation for you, but seems as though no matter how hard I try, I just can't.
I would apologize, but then maybe the reason for my unoriginality could be because I think you're the most amazing role model in my life? because you're the perfect sample of motherhood. Because the way you give of yourself and your love, time and hours 24/7, 365 days each year of your life amazes me. how it never runs out. how you're always so understanding and patient? because you're all those things, I just can't seem to find the right words to express you or my thankfulness for you!! and I don't think I ever will be able to.
so in simple words, I say thank you! thank you for bringing me into this life and for putting up with all my problems from the terrible two's through my teen rebellions and first boyfriend in the family complications. you were with me through it all and you helped me through. and here you are, still strong and still helping me. I still need you now, Mom, and I will still need you tomorrow and the next and the next. I'll always need you as my mother, as my friend, and as my guide. thanks for raising more than the normal "3 kids" family, and for being so super at it all! I love you, forever!! Happy Mother's Day, to my most loved mommy!!

three great things happened on the 5th of May.
I baked a cake, and it was fluffy and actually a CAKE. We had onigiris!! Oh gosh, you don't know how good it was to have a piece of Japanese food here! oishiikata! and I got to enjoy watching Jason get so excited throughout the whole party! he was super duper, extra excited when he took a nice shower and sat in his chair afterwards, and a cake was brought in with candels. he was sooooo wild crazy for it! once we get our computer, I will so post the video:)
I'm glad the kids had fun and that we were able to have a little celebration in their honor:) thank you Jesus for children!
there was a: Devil, Bum, Nero, Gladiator, Kunfu Panda, Poison Ivy, Angel, Grampa, Mountain Woman, Sports Boy, and a LumberJack.

Jason... today is a celebration of you in our life. in mommy and daddy's life together. but especially in mine. you made me realize how motherhood is such a worthy calling in life. you've brightened my days with so much happiness and love. I can't imagine spending a life without you. thanks for coming down and making me the most blessed mommy alive. thank you for giving me a reason to understand why this day was created. you're my precious little knight, Jas, you won my heart and will forever hold the key (with daddy><) I don't ask that you be the best kid, I only ask that I can be the best for you. I don't ask for you to be the smartest kid, I only ask that I can be a good teacher. I don't ask for you to be anything, but yourself. And in being that, you are everything. I'm glad you're my son, and I pray that you are glad I am your mommy! I love you so much!! happy kid's day my little angel!! xoxoxoxox
