of the recent...

As christmas creeps up on us with every passing day, I am reminded how muchly I am surrounded by wonderful people and a wonderful life:)
the photos below include some of the recent happenings here in little Marmora, inside the Wallace house..
ahem..
I think I already mention earlier about the battle to cut Jason's hair. well the photos are proof of his hatred towards the little machine. we tried to give him snacks, but even then, his face doesn't seem to approve of the little bugger in daddy's hand.
we went to a friend's daughter's skating competition. little Jenna, got fourth place I think. whata star!
put up the lights! that was a good day...Charlotte, Greggy's friend came over and we all had lots of fun dropping light bulbs and falling down. but in the end, it was a pretttty sight. C-mas lights are so welcoming!!
theen the long awaited Santa Parade. Sadly, Lixy didn't find her handsome santa (being that there was only one, and he was taken: Mrs. Santa would not approve), but we did find happiness in standing in the freezing cold, all bundled up with earmuffs and gloves, watching the fun, bright, cheery people show off their stuff!
as for my little punk, he's growing soooo fast! totally weaned and sleeps THROUGH the night. can you believe it? I am actually sleeping right through the night too! this is time for celebration!
Our team has costumes, and our first show is on the 3rd!! lots of prayers and cheers would make our day!
..everyone seems to be having babies or getting pg this year..it's really making me want another one myself!

this is all real.
I'll tell you...

we were fighting over the few japanese goodies we had left.
see what sembei deprivation can lead to?
not good..

This week's freeday was a good one for me.
My wonderful parents, (I love u!) took Jason out so that me and Joe could spend some time together. we took a little walk in the gorgeous fresh air, and then came home and had some cocktails Joe so professionally made. theeen while sipping it down, we watched an Amada Bynes movie!
thanks mom and dad!
and thanks Babe, who never fails to put his heart into everything he does:)

let's see, I just thought I would write down a few things that's been happening recently! just to fill in all the little cracks that aren't posted on here with pictures:)
well..
Christmas is one month from now! Well, Christmas day is. All the lights, trees, present shopping and shows are just around the corner! HURRAH. we're putting together a little team with the kids, me and lixy, and of course, Jason will be wearing something cute while dancing in the corner. (he LOVES the c-mas songs...goes wild.) So I'm looking forward to that! this christmas will be filled with fluffy socks, warm cocoa, eggnog, chocolate, lights, snow, sweaters, boots, red noses, ice-skating, classic movies, big blankets, and all the relatives!! whoopwhoop!! God is soooo oh so so good.
Jason is going to get the boot from the boobie...tomorrow! we've been planning this day for a looooong time now, and I am looking forward to the nights where I can sleep right through! hopefully...
I dyed my hair to a more orange color. it's not much of a difference, tho a tad lighter, if you catch me in the sun, then you'll be able to tell
I'm starting to actually think about getting my driver's license. I'm scared...
Listening to the same ABC song cd is starting to pay off.. Jason can now say "A A A" with the lady voice.
I've been getting back into the Japanese flashcards and rather off, but nonetheless Japanese words I put in a sentence, with Jas.
We cut his hair!!! tatan! but only got half way through because he freaked out too much and both me and joe are horrible hair cutters...so we refused to touch his head when he was moving like a crazy cave man. the sides are buzzed..somewhat. can't really tell, we need to fix it!
Tonight is Japanese night!! my tummy is eagerly waiting to delve into the delicious soup, tempura, and temakizushi! OISHI!!
Tomorrow me and joe will be taking Jason to a clinic to get his ever increasing rash checked out. if it's not what we think it is, then the cream is only making is worse. please pray!!!!!!!!!!!!!
New moon is going to be out in the theatres today? or tomorrow... we're planning on having a older people night's out to the theatre next week. Lenlen, would be nice if you'd join!!
and my son is offically asleep on my lap so I must put him down on the bed!! cheers everyone!! and happy early c-mas season!!
...sooo exciting!

H-A-P-P-Y!!
Joe's getting that "inspiration" once again, to go hog wild and buy lots of good alcohol to make yummy yummy cocktails! hurrah for me:) this time we wanna set up a bigger selection than the one we had in Japan, so the other day we went out and bought a few glasses, shakers and alcohol to get started. I can't wait till we fill the whole shelf up!
I promise we'll host a cocktail/food party if you come over and visit!!!!!!

shout out to moms

do any of you have any tips or ideas on schooling a 13 month old kid!?
okay that question seems a bit too far.
I've been doing flashcards and books with him since...months ago, but it's always been a short 20 mins because he'll be on his chair, tuning in, then the next wanting out and whining and running around and totally not into the schooling. I've read everywhere that at this stage it's good to use flashcards, etc,. but listen to your child and when he's had enough, let him. anyways, I've never really liked that idea, because it seems as though the kid would just be getting his way? and never learn to sit still and learn.
well anyways, need a bit of ideas here from any experienced mom:) whether the nonsense is true or not. and I can rest assured, or keep worrying for his schooling and push it anyways.
thaaaaaaaanks!!

for timmin

"Doshite kimi o suki ni natte shimatandarou???"

me and mom were cooking in the kitchen and I turned on some Korean songs on youtube to tease mom, and mom piped up saying, "oh it reminds me of elena-chan!!"
and I sang that song just for her in rememberance of you.
NOPE this is not a "alright I admit I'm missing you" post. but maybe a few more weeks and it'll come. tee hee hee. I know you're waiting. I promise not to disappoint.
hope you're having a ball!!
Kurchack!

Nina bumbeeeennnaaaa

My Inoshishi queen, Happy 19th!!
Now you're my age, and we can think exactly alike! tee hee hee. well actually, we are totally different people in everything. Other than workouts...maybe? haha. but it's a good thing, because even though we might clash sometimes, for most of the time it's so fun to hang with you! you're uper uper sweet and I love you loads!!
two main times that I remember most are when 1: she came over to dance with us. that c-mas was awesome, and you were a great roomate! and 2: when she came over for a few days to help me with Jason! thanks soooooooo much! I was sooo afraid I would have to be alone in the house for the whole time, but you came to my rescue! my hero!!
thanks for being my pal, sister in law, friend, and dancer! hope this year is swell and you live it up like you've never before.
I know the Lord has a high calling for you somewhere, because you have so many talents, I can't wait to see you use them all!
hope your birthday brings much joy!! and may the inoshishi king one day find you! (snicker) I love you Nins!!
