trip to Toronto

I'm gonna be posting photos of the different things we did on our trip into Toronto. but not tonight, since I'm dead tired and am in need of some serious sleep.
just to fill you in on what happened in our three days down there.. we spent the night at our aunt's place. and feasted on our uncle's amazing cooking! (spanish can really cook!!!) then spent the next day out with our second cousin, Chihiro, who's here in Canada for about a year on homestay. I don't even wanna get started on the 3 hour driving around Toronto city..BUT it was fun and great to see him:) then we spent two days at Markham home. went to a party that totally rocked, except for the fact that everyone was drinking and letting it loose while me and joe sorta..stayed behind. I had a tired baby, so I took one beer and that was it. and Joe...yes...poor baby, him being the driver and all. thank you Jesus So much for drivers. they are so sacrafisial. it's amazing. xoxoxoxo
it was a great trip, all in all! so thank you Jesus we're alive, home, and I so can't wait to jump into my queen sized bed and just..sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!!! ><

to my daddy

I just wanted to post a little one here for my daddy! who also deserved to be celebrated yesterday!! Happy Father's day daddy!! I know that sometimes both you and I don't get along, but that's not because I don't love you or anything like that. I think it's because you and I are so alike that both our personalities clash sometimes. but I love you more than ever, and I always want you to know that you'll always be the bestest daddy I ever will have and know! thanks for everything!! you are an awesome inspiration and help to me! thank you! I love you!!

JAMBOREE

okay, so in brief, Marmora had it's annual Jamboree on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, last week and Greg, Joe, Dad, and Elena were on staff to help out in the kitchen. so we, the little family of the happy helpers, were able to get free passes and free food tickets! WHOO! the food was..wonderful! if you're the kind that enjoys a good burger, fries and hotdog. listened to some sweet, some funny, some funky, some really awesome, sorts of country music. and Elena, Greg and Dad even got up to sing a few songs of their own!
so it was a great week!

I know I might be seriously throttled by these two ladies, whom were my honored bride's maids...and sisters.. but I just came by this photo and I loved it so much, I just had to post it! so if you ever have a wedding, note to brides... NEVER overwork your bride's maids!! ><

oh look, it's me

the weird lady is back online and ready to blog some more cool stuff about our new lifestyle in this outback, mosquito, beer drinking, but totally beautiful land! yup. that pretty much sums up Canada. but maybe I should highlight and capitalize the beer drinking part, because if you don't know the phrase "Beer and Nuts" are Canucks...then you've still to discover. believe me, Japanese love to drink beer and sake, but have you ever seen a Canadian drink? yesterday we had a BBQ, and I think there were four cases of 12 pack beers. and adding one case of six pack of Vodka Lemonade for the ladies:) (we missed Chu-hi so much, dad went out and bought us some cocktails. YUM!) joe drank 6 beers, and that was the least amount drunk by one guy. I think the winner goes to Chad, a very happy beer loving Canadian who went for..14..15 beers was it?? and I won't even begin on how many hotdogs he chucked down into his stomach. 10? anyways...yes, all to say, Canadians are beer drinkers. no doubt about.

this is fat flum. he loves Cherub Wings waay to much. esp the "Super duper heaven's troopers" you turn it on, his attention is right there, and he's jumping up and down and laughing at the cherubs.

Oh look! it's mister fats again! and this is him getting real happy that he's gunna take a bath. this guy is crazy for baths...it amazes me...

aaaand then there is our lovely car...our house and all the green happiness around it. it's so pretty!! and the boys' completed wood shed...and some of the good beer. wink.
