helllooooooooooooooooo..........

two weeks ago, sweet little Marmora had a fair! For Labor Day!
So we all went and did some rides and munched on some yummies and in the evening, enjoyed watching cars smash each other. in other words, went to a Derby.
it was a good day, and for a small town, the fair was pretty good. just too bad Jas was too small to enjoy any of them. although Greg took him on the merry-go-round. his very first one! AW! I don't know how it is with other moms, but to me that was a special moment!
><>

when we got home, around nine, Jason pulled out his cars and started doing his own little derby. and Joe was like..Zzzzzzzzzzzzz beside him. but then of course, I wanted to watch Batman Forever, the really good oldie, and so I got him up.
yes, and me and elena sorta enjoyed some glasses photos. cheese!

Good night!!

ahhh, and I thought I would end on these photos.
My Aunt came for two days and she's a vegetarian, so yes, we were thinking....what should we make for meals! and mom came up with the brilliant plan of making Tempura!! (and well, my aunt had been wanting to try it, so it was all good) so mom cooked it up. Sweet potato, onions and carrots, mushrooms (Oh gosh, I Looooooooved those mushrooms!) annnnd..one more thing, but I forget! anyhow. I made a salad, and Elena put together some oishi temakizushi! so in the end, we had a really yummy yummy veggie dinner! whoopwhooop!

I love my hubs

the other night, after Jason fell asleep, me and Joe just cuddled in bed together and talked about everything we could imagine. our hopes, our dreams, our day, our ideas, everything. we also laughed pretty hard, it woke Jason up!
I love it! I love my husband and I love spending time with him. he's always gone during the day, working, and I miss him when he's gone. but then when he comes home and we get those few minutes of snuggle and laugh/talk time, it makes me smile and feel totally and completely content and happy.
I love my life and I love my husband sooooooooo sososososos oh so much! what I did to deserve him, I will never ever know.....
but I DO know that I'm married to him and that makes me the luckiest girl alive.

I love you baby!

my sick boo

Jason is down with his first high fever ever. I'm not sure whether it's a teething fever or just an ordinary bugger, but it's hitting him hard and the poor marshmallow is not his usual self.
last night was the toughest, him hardly being able to sleep, and me having to stay up with him and watch kiddie viddies just to keep his attention on other things.
am I ever tired...
PTL. that's what I'm here for, to be there for him. and if it means staying up every single night just to keep the little man happy, I'll do it because he's my sweetheart and I love him to bits!
please keep praying for him. I miss his wild, curious little self!!
and can't wait to get it back:)

the birthday bbq

we had a bbq for mom today, for her birthday.
it was up to me and lainy to make the food. and usually mom is in the kitchen being the head chef, so, that everything turned out yummy was a miracle! thank you Jesus:)
I made a cake, yes. I did!! >< and I'm surprised that it actually turned out quite good. well, it was just a plain old chocolate cake. but I sorta liked how it ended up looking:) yay! tho nothing beats Lixy's awesome cakes!!!
Mommy, I hope you had fun today!! i know we didn't do anything too spectacular or super duper, but I hope you were able to relax and enjoy yourself anyways!!

mom and dad were outside by the fire, so we decided to surprise her and go out with sparklers and the cake and bring it to her. never mind the walls of our house, daddy worked hard to clean it all, and get it all ready to be painted!! it will look better soon!

me and joe got mom a Fondue set.
it was such a cute, romantic little thing, we just had to get it!
added some chocolates and strawberries in there and..voila!

well, that's a wrap!! off to a nice cozy bed with my two handsome boys!!
goodNIGHT!!

To My Prettiest Mommy

To my pretty mommy who means the world to me, Happy Birthday!!
The big FIVE-O!! Congratulations! You've now lived half a century, and I know with the way you keep things up, you'll be celebrating your 100th too!!:)
I don't think I could ever ask for anything to be changed about you mommy! because I love everything about you. you're a prefect picture of the best mommy in my eyes, and I am so thankful to be your little girl.
you know how to make everyone crack up into laughter, sometimes not even by what you say, but even by just what you do either by reason or accident. you're super foolish. you can take my jokes and laugh with me about them. you'll even make some of your own, which aren't always as good as mine, but pretty close, and always makes me laugh either way!
You'll enjoy a good romance comedy with us girls, while we drink chu-hi and munch on chocolate and chips. you'll paint your nails red, and let me and Lixy do your hair and make-up.
but that's just the beginning...
you'll listen to every single problem I have on my mind. You'll sometimes end up crying with me.
you'll get into deep talks about life, and just about what's going on, and that could go on forever. You'll take Jason for me so I can shower, exercise, sleep, eat, watch a movie..go out shopping. you make him smile and get him dancing. you'll cook an awesome meal and you'll play speed with me, and most of the time you'll beat me. but I still beat you on racing. and even though I don't think you'll ever actually get in your bathing suit and swim with me, I know you'll always be there to watch and take pictures and say something funny.
thanks mom, for being so giving of yourself and so loving. I admire you so much!!
I hope this year brings much more delight and happiness to you than the past ones!! and may your next 50 years be even better than your first 50! I love you so much!! have a wonderful day!!

video time!!

my fatbaby loves to dance to radio music. there's a cd player/radio downstairs that he's figured out. the little fingers press buttons and turn on the music.
he's still got a long way to go with his moves, but hey, I see a bright future><
some of his fave songs to dance to are "Boom Boom Pow" "Sexy Back" "Bad Girl" and of course, "The Wheels on the Bus" and "Quacky Was A Duck"
such a comedian...

scribblings

Summer vacation is over officially. and the kids are back in school.
yesterday Greg started the first day of his school year. to those who don't know, he's now going to a school not far from where we live. yup. he takes the yellow bus every day and walks the busy halls of teens carrying books in their hands:) the whole shebang!
as for me, I'm back to the usual things of cooking, teaching, and of course, always and forever will be, teaching, training and chasing after my rascal, curious little eleven month old son.
and here I go again in mentioning that Christmas is on its way in a few months. this means another busy (hopefully!!) next few months of dance practices and other warm, fuzzy, happy winter rituals. (an odd way to put it...)
this time I'm looking forward to Christmas even more. since it'll be my first time in a long time to actually experience a real Christmas winter. the cold snow outside, while safe and snug inside. all cuddled up in a warm bathrobe, fluffy slippers. sipping hot cocoa, or coffee, with those little marshmallows that make it taste just that much better. sitting in front of the FIRE place. (now that's a big must have in Christmas) watching a warm, happy, good old Christmas classic, while the lights on the tree flicker and cast pretty glows around the room.
sigh... I'm getting all warm just thinking about it...
but I'm not sure I want this summer heat to go just yet...
first off, I'm also anticipating a Canadian autumn! can't wait to see all those gorgeous trees turn into awesome bright colors.
Oh, God is so good. and so brilliant to have thought of all these gorgeous things in life.
with all that said, I'm off now to maybe make some more oatmeal cake. yummmm!
